Display

The standard display used in the Ultimate MACH Bar is a 1.8″ TFT LCD with 18-bit color.  I’m working on adding an option for a larger 2.2″ display, and I expect that the larger display will be available in the Ultimate MACH Bar by December, 2018.

A microcontroller inside the bar randomly displays photos that are stored on an internal MicroSD card.  The number of photos displayed is limited only by the size of the memory card, but hundreds of photos will fit on a very inexpensive MicroSD card.

You can set the brightness of the LCD by using a configuration menu that is accessed with the push-button switches on the MACH bar.

If you don’t want an LCD display with photos, I can also build the MACH bar with a scrolling text display, which I can program to display your dog’s name and title, with or without the date, or whatever text you choose.  The text scrolls smoothly and repeatedly.  A limited number of graphics characters are also available and the display can scroll horizontally or vertically.
